10 November 2025: Wales Tech Week 2025, powered by Technology Connected, returns next month from 24-26 November at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales in Newport.
This year’s event sees Vodafone Business – the enterprise division of the newly-merged VodafoneThree and a leading provider of connectivity and digital solutions for businesses across the UK – act as Premier Partner.
Bringing together innovators, industry leaders, startups, investors and policymakers, the three-day showcase will spotlight the latest technologies helping to drive the digital economy forward.
Avril Lewis, MBE, Managing Director, Technology Connected, said: “Wales Tech Week is proud to welcome Vodafone Business as our Premier Partner for 2025. As part of the newly merged VodafoneThree, Vodafone Business is helping to deliver the infrastructure and innovation that Wales needs to thrive – enabling businesses, communities and public services to embrace the opportunities of a truly connected future.”
Vodafone Business has a long-standing commitment to Wales, investing in connectivity that underpins economic growth, inclusion and sustainability.
Following the VodafoneThree merger, the company is delivering the UK’s largest-ever mobile network investment of £11 billion, building the country’s biggest and best 5G network.
In Wales, this means near-universal population coverage, improved rural connectivity, and the infrastructure to power innovation across sectors – from advanced manufacturing and fintech to healthcare and green energy.
This investment is projected to contribute £4 billion in productivity benefits to Wales by 2035, supporting thousands of businesses and creating new opportunities in every community.
As Premier Partner, Vodafone Business will have a significant presence throughout the tech summit. As well as exhibiting throughout the week, Vodafone Business will take centre stage with the opening keynote on Tuesday 25th, setting the tone for dynamic discussions around connectivity, innovation and the future of tech in Wales.
Monday 24th will also see VodafoneThree host a dedicated panel focused on digital inclusion, exploring strategies to address the digital divide – an issue that lies at the heart of the company’s mission and values.
Nick Gliddon, Director, Business, VodafoneThree, said: “Wales is at a pivotal moment for technology, and connectivity is the foundation for its future success. At Vodafone Business, we’re proud to partner with Wales Tech Week to highlight the role a world-class network will play in unlocking opportunity – from supporting SMEs and critical public services to enabling green innovation and digital inclusion.
“Our £11 billion investment in the UK’s biggest and best 5G network will help ensure Wales has the infrastructure it needs to thrive, creating jobs, boosting productivity and connecting communities across the nation.”
Wales Tech Week 2025 promises to be the most ambitious edition yet, bringing together global tech industry leaders, startups, investors and policymakers to celebrate and accelerate Wales’s role in the digital economy.
