550k more London homes can now get Vodafone full fibre

28 August 2025: From today, more than 550,000 additional homes across London can now access Vodafone’s full fibre broadband, thanks to a new partnership between VodafoneThree and Community Fibre. With this major network expansion, VodafoneThree becomes the largest full fibre provider in London and the UK - helping more homes enjoy fast, reliable connectivity. 

Using Community Fibre’s network to provide symmetrical download and upload speeds of up to 2.2 Gbps, this partnership will allow Vodafone to offer its full fibre broadband packages and products via Community Fibre’s footprint across the capital.

All 32 London boroughs will gain access to Vodafone’s entire full fibre offering, including its latest Pro 3 broadband, which is powered by WiFi 7 and delivers speeds up to 60 times faster than standard broadband.  

And there’s more good news. New and existing Vodafone mobile customers can save up to £4 a month when they add broadband to their mobile plan. This means they'll get the speed and reliability of full fibre, plus the strength of Vodafone’s award-winning mobile network – named London’s Best Mobile Network by NETCHECK** – for less. For those looking to make the switch, Vodafone will contact the customer’s current broadband provider, handle the switchover of plans, and offer £100 towards exit fees***, to ensure changing suppliers is hassle-free. 

Community Fibre joins VodafoneThree’s existing network partners, including CityFibre and Openreach, bringing VodafoneThree’s total full fibre footprint to more than 21.5 million homes nationwide. As the provider with the largest full fibre footprint in both the UK and London, the partnerships reinforce VodafoneThree's commitment to delivering fast, reliable broadband to as many households and businesses as possible.

As London’s largest and fastest full fibre-only broadband network, the partnership marks a major milestone in Community Fibre's growth strategy and reflects the increasing demand for ultrafast, reliable broadband services across the UK.

Vodafone Pro 3 is built for full fibre, which offers speeds up to 2.2Gbps. That’s up to 60x faster than Vodafone's standard broadband (35Mbps).

**Vodafone was named London’s Best Mobile Network on the basis of NET CHECK’s 2024 measurement report of objective mobile network performance in Greater London. This test used the latest commercially available equipment to test the performance of four mobile networks in October/November 2024. Vodafone’s network was tested in a range of voice and data service categories including accessibility, reliability, speech quality and speed tests using customer applications such as browsing of popular web pages, video streaming and more. NET CHECK revealed that Vodafone ranked first, ahead of other UK mobile providers in combined voice and data services, and first in data services specifically. 

*** Vodafone will cover customers’ early termination charges from their previous broadband provider of an equivalent amount, up to a maximum of £100. The switching credit will be given to customers as an account credit and this amount is VAT inclusive.
